What's interesting is--what happens when google discontinues its social platform, online meetings (hangouts), and youtube--all of which were involved and are leveraged as tools to meet up each month and provide a worldwide view into our meetings whenever anyone is interested.

There is the valid concern that no part of the internet is forever. However, there's also the concern that it the debate can quickly grow silly when deciding whose part of the internet is less-forever than the other. I'll hedge my bets that youtube isn't going anywhere for a good while, and the decision to archive our meetings there is, in my pre-calculated decision to use it, a pretty safe bet.
