I have large shoulders, but I was in a store in US (I'm from Brazil) and I decided to buy XL T-shirts bacusa of my big back, but when I got home, it was too big! AND the L i bought was to small. Don't you have something in the middle?
I think that XL T-shirts was to BIG people, I mean Really big people.. :)

Funny. I'm average height (1.75m), only a bit overweight, and a XL fits rather well. (It's a GNU T-shirt I bought on a 25% discount from Richard Stallman when he was here in Rio. I guess the FSF takes "computer lab guts" into account when making those...)

I can only agree with you! L and XL are sizes for BIG people... XXL i can't talk about, 'cause I've never seen a t-shirt in this size!!

The size of the t-shirt based on L, XL, and such varies from brand to brand. If you want to make sure that the t-shirt fits, a lot of the time, the chest dimensions will be listed under the sizing information, telling you what chest measurements correspond with what size of t-shirt.
