the dialog is unnecessary. Now the only problem is that using this approach to display dynamically changing content will cause the cursor to be always in the busy shape.

Thanks again, BrowserUk. The FAQ says "Put a call to DoEvents() inside the loop" and this "will ensure that all queued messages are processed before going on with the loop". So this looks like a cure :) Thanks again :)	[reply]
