I am involved into Tcl and Tcl::Tk and Devel::tkdb CPAN modules. This approach to Tcl/Tk much better than perl/Tk, because:

• Tcl::Tk have much larger widgets available for usage, because of Tcl/Tk widgets (example of using BLT widgets)
• Tcl::Tk is faster than Perl/Tk, approximately twice.
• Tcl::Tk with Tcl/Tk eats less memory
• Tcl::Tk source is smaller and pure-Perl, it is lightweight and easier to manage.
