<p>Just to clarify, if it was me, I would uninstall and reinstall Strawberry Perl.</p>
<p>(This is lingo from Windows XP, but your installation is similar.)</p>
<p>Settings</p>
<p>Control Panel</p>
<p>Add or Remove Programs</p>
<p>Scroll down to Strawberry Perl</p>
<p>Click the Remove button.</p>
<p>Exit the windows.</p>
<p>Download the latest Strawberry Perl from the website, i.e., http://strawberryperl.com/.</p>
<p>That should be a .msi file.</p>
<p>Run it.</p>
