Mom’s Homemade Anonymous Monk Policy

I am entirely in favor of allowing anonymous posts. That said, I have a general dislike of those who do it. No continuity, broken context, inability to amend posts. It's like someone yelling from a passing car in the dark. There are a handful, three that I think I can identify as past named monks, of excellent Perl hackers that post anonymously. I wish they wouldn't but I'm glad they're still here. A decent slice of the others are jackass time wasters; flatulence waved in your face. I will not err on the side of amiability when a post is from [Anonymous Monk] and it's overly terse or foolish or rude or wrong. If you want to be treated with respect or get some benefit of the doubt or bank credibility, show your face, as is it were. Otherwise you are self-unidentifying with some fairly awful, or at least inconsistently good, human beings. Sometimes there is no sure way to tell the difference. It's not my job to try. :P
