<p>Here are some resources:
<ul><li>The comp.lang.c++.moderated newsgroup is a good resource -- <em>Warning, it's mostly about standards issues and laziness is unrewarding there</em>. Lurk before you leap. Their FAQ is excellent.</li>
<li>The latest edition of Stroustrup's <i>The C++ Programming Language</i> is the book to buy. There are other good books, but none are better than that, and many are not worth the paper they're printed on.</li>
<li>[http://www.research.att.com/~bs/homepage.html|Stroustrup's home page] has links to all sorts of resources.</li>
<li>You may be able to slip in the occasional question here on CB or posed in terms of [cpan://Inline::CPP].</li></ul>
