I'm not familiar with the function. But I want to leave html outside of pairs of backticks in tact. Will that function help me do that?

$PM = "Perl Monk's";
$MCF = "Most Clueless Friar Abbot Bishop Pontiff Deacon Curate Priest";
$nysus = $PM . ' ' . $MCF;
