Funniest Nodes of 2004

Best Nodes is dedicated to spotlighting the nodes of the (day|week|month|year) with the highest reputations. What about the Monastery's FUNNIEST nodes? I know the year isn't over yet, but I'd like to see what you all thought the funniest nodes of this year were.

I'm nominating Re: Hide real IP, and many of the replies too. That thread is a great example of how an apparently useless root node can trigger the release of some great pent-up humour. -- I'd like to be able to assign to an luser	[reply]

It's too bad you're only looking for the funniest from 2004. For if you were also considering nodes from 2003, I would not hesitate to nominate the How can I get which Windows domain an IP belongs to? thread, and in particular, the Ask the Dark Gods reply as the first node that ever made me laugh out loud involuntarily. Oh, definitely the Tattoo question response! As soon as I read the link in your node I immediately thought of the exact same one. It's certainly one of the funniest nodes I've come across on the site, ever. Of course, to enjoy it at its fullest, I find it helps to read the whole thread. And of course, geckosan's follow-up reply elsewhere in the thread is of merit too. - another intruder with the mooring in the heart of the Perl	[reply]
