I Know What I Like (In Your Namespace)

Ok, so everybody is writing song parodies about Perl, so i thought i would jump on the band wagon and give it a shot . . . . this one is an old Genesis song, i really doubt many people will get it (hint, find the mp3).

original lyrics

It's one o'clock and time for lunch, hum de dum de dum dum. When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench I can always hear them talk. . . There's always been Eiffel: "jeffa, wake up! You've got to tidy your types now." And then Mister Java: "Isn't it time that he was Enterprise?" Over the fire wall, two little packets - get through to you! Keep them hacking skills sharp... 'cause I know what I like, and I like what I know; getting better in your namespace, stepping one beyond Python. Sunday night, C Sharp called, said: "Listen son, you're wasting your time; there's a future for you in the Dot Net trade. Come up to town!" But I remebered a voice from the past; "Plug and play only pays when you're licensed" - I had to thank old Larry Wall for schooling a hacker. Keep them hacking skills sharp... yes I know what I like, and I like what I know; getting better in your namespace, stepping one beyond Python. When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench, I can always hear them talk. Me, I'm just a Perl coder - you can tell me by the way I hack! <insert keyboard solo>

ROTFL. That was fun, I guess we should think about: "Dancing with the Camelized knight", "Firth of Split", "The Battle of Hashed Forest" or "Mad Man Wall" :))) (incidentally the one I love best)
