First I learned SVN, after that I learned both Mercurial & Git. As regular Windows users I find Mercurial is much more easier to use than Git, and Git support is very awfull back then (circa 2010-2011). However I completely switch to Git this month, because the porting of Git on Windows (TortoiseGit) is much better in recent years. Once your know how to use Git, you will not look for any other alternatives ... IMHO
