Re^6: LWP and WWW:Mechanize not working (you think)

I've tried wget, curl, and a few other things - even a method that worked yesterday, and today the method I used to download a test file off the net with perl, doesn't work.

Every time I use lwp to connect ANYWHERE on the net with perl, it gives me the "500 Status Read Failed" error, "a non-blocking socket operation could not be completed immediately". Help?

So wget/curl and the rest don't work? Which version of perl (`perl -V`) do you have? Which version of LWP ( `lwp-request -v`)?	[reply] [d/l] [select]

I figured out the problem, it's Windows 8. I tried the code on my Father's Macintosh, and my Windows 7 computer, and it works on both; must be some weird update. Thanks for the help!	[reply]
