Last winter in Aaron Schwartz's Economist obituary, Perl was described with superlatives as a powerful programming language. Ie, giving the impression that Perl is the 'most' powerful language. Economist has at least WSJ standing. And I wondered about the writer's source material. I used to build websites for a PR firm and retain a bias. Maybe TPF has had similar thoughts?
