Looks like you now have several examples. To add just one more, have a look at Very simple login using Perl, jQuery, Ajax, JSON and MySQL. You may not need or want MySQL or JSON right now, but the example is well laid-out, and worth a read.

    Yeah, i found this website before - and i already use mysql and from what i've read by now i will need json. But i didn't think this example was "very simple" because i couldn't get it to work ^^
