Well, I'm not trying to make a point, thats the point. Its just I was sitting idle and I've been dabbling with Perl for almost a month now, I was just trying to get my understandings and learnings commented on :-). Yeah accepted that Perl has many more features and as you said, this was a learning exercise... I was just trying to relate what I already know with what is new. Kinda umm mnemonics if you may.
