Depends. If I am travelling when I don't want to (work) then I want the best place that expenses will allow.
If I'm on holiday with the wife then I want the place that will keep her happy. If I'm hill-walking on my own then I just need somewhere that will keep me warm and dry, where the wildlife won't attack me or my food.
