in reply to installing DBD::Sybase

If you've arrived at CPAN now trying to compile DBD::Sybase, please post the FULL console output instead of some grotesquely shortened output. Especially relevant are the output of perl -w Makefile.PL if you ran it yourself.

In the bug list for DBD::Sybase, there are lots of bugs (and some fixes) for compiling under Windows. Have you investigated these already?

Ideally, you run the whole configuration and compilation manually:

cpan CPAN> look DBD::Sybase ... DBD-Sybase-1.2345> perl Makefile.PL ... ... DBD-Sybase-1.2345> nmake

Somewhere there, the error should occur, and for diagnosis, we need the complete session starting from look DBD::Sybase.

      This is weirdly mangled output that contains ANSI escape sequences and is missing the actual error message from the C compiler. I'm not sure what you're aiming at here, but maybe you could enlist the help of somebody who is more familiar with your OS setup.

      Again, have you reviewed the errors? Maybe #91298 is applicable? Or maybe #92196.

        'dmake.exe: Error code 129, while making 'blib\arch\auto\DBD\Sybase\Sy +base.dll'
