but can't find any evidence to back up this story well, IIRC, merlyn said it, vroom said it (and Corion repeated it), vroom(or Corion or ar0n) also explained how early on in the codebase someone needed to have the most XP :) ... yes, these are my recollections of the early days of 2001-2002 ... tye has a better memory :)
