Stumbled upon this reply by chromatic to princepawn which says:
vroom gave himself a million XP, when some people started getting close to his natural level.
I don't have a problem with that, either.
I think he's done a wonderful job on taking a complex piece of software,
extending it to meet his vision, and keeping it running ...
vroom started this site, he took a good idea and made it real.
His job is to keep it running, and his company foots the bills.
Yes, it's the content from users that attracts and retains new people,
but your overinflated claims of tyranny and injustice ring rather hollow.
Update: Super Search found some more links:
Update: Yikes, I just noticed -- presumably to balance the books
following the one million XP gift to vroom --
that Perl Monk antivroom has XP in excess of minus one million
(-1,002,949 as I write this)!
