So far 12 or maybe 13 people upvoting this? Looks consistent with what I wrote.
I do believe that the number of people that care about the name of this failed experiment at adding every single programming concept anyone ever made up into a language loosely based on Perl is at least two magnitudes lower than the number of people that just don't want it called Perl. Just rename the thing already, thousands of people had been yelling at the ten or so Perl6 developers to do that for a decade and half.

There is no "Perl6".
One day I typed "brew install perl6" on my computer and now I can enter things like "perl6 -e 'say X'" and wonder what it means. I also have several versions of Perl 5 installed! I don't have Perl 1-4 but do wish perlbrew would add the best stable version of each, so we can have ever more fun. I want more Perl, not less, more!
I recently installed "gnuradio" which resulted in 2 additional versions of "Python" 2 and 3 being "unbottled" by "homebrew" on to my computing device. This is in addition to the many more versions of "Python" automatically installed by applications on my computer, including at least one that facilitates my otherwise wonderful Perl IDE (Komodo :( Free :)
I guess the paradigm involves multiple versions of Perl running simultaneously to handle each computationally heavy aspect of a modern application like, for an IDE: 1. the GUI and 2. syntax highlighting and 3. real time eval and 4. perl critic and etc. No big deal on modern systems cause Perl is so tiny...

There is no "Perl6". Read the news.
Did I miss something? The latest I read was that they were considering adding an "alias" to the branding (essentially)... but not abandoning the "Perl 6" name. So the outward marketing can be more sane, while the unpleasantness within the community can continue raging.
Now, if you're referring to the fact that @lwall has declaimed very clearly that the name is "Perl 6, with a space" and not "Perl6", then yes... but that's not news.
I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16 ,000 zombies.
