No worry on choice of database since I can only use MySQL since it's already set-up by DBA and unlikely I can request any other database.

No worry on choice of database since I can only use MySQL since it's already set-up by DBA and unlikely I can request any other database. That does not stop me from strongly recommending PostgreSQL instead of MySQL and its forks.
