File::Symlink::Atomic, symlink, or sysopen support more fundamentally what you're trying to do - particularly effective in coordinating things created via fork.

    I have trouble understanding what you mean.

    Especially as my example code is meant to work on Windows and some of those solutions like symlink are not implemented there.
