<h1>Are Raku-related posts allowed on PerlMonks?</h1>
<p>
The short answer is <b>yes!</b> If you see that someone else has posted a <tt>[[https://raku.org/|Raku]]</tt>-related question or meditation here, please do not waste your time and annoy others by complaining about it.
</p><p>
If you have a question or observation pertaining to Raku only, and not Perl 5, you may post here if it suits you.
We have had a few [href://?node_id=3989;HIT=raku;nf=0;yr=2021;mo=01;dy=01;HET=perl;re=N;M;Wi|very healthy Raku discussions] in recent times.
</p><p>
However, PerlMonks remains <i>"officially"</i> about Perl(5) only, and we don't expect that to change.
So please take a look at <b>the [https://raku.org/community/|Raku community] page</b> for the more "official" means of communicating with other Raku programmers.
Venues include IRC, Discord, blogs, Stack Overflow, and mailing lists.
</p><p>
As far as we know, the Raku community do not have a forum type of web site similar to PerlMonks. Therefore, as a courtesy to Raku programmers who prefer the forum style,
PerlMonks will allow Raku-related posts for the foreseeable future. Any such post should have <c>[Raku]</c> prefixed to its title. For example: [id://11133342]
</p><p>
<b>Note:</b> This lenient policy may be changed if either (a) PerlMonks becomes overwhelmed with Raku-related posts, or (b) the Raku community establishes its own forum-style web site.
