Hi Anomalous Monk

,

For a moment I was wondering when and why did I reply to myself, but then I noticed the name!!

I've written a very basic test and updated the original post with it so that it will be there for all to review. Thank you

Hi Anomalous Monk, truth is I'm a registered user, but I don't have the guts to put up this kind of bad code under my username.

I'm jobless right now and hoping to get a Perl related job. My username is pretty unique and resolves to my first and last name. Most of the Perl experts hang out here and if they find I've asked these kind of stupid questions, written this kind of bad code and the word gets out, no one would give me a job for sure :)

... I'm a registered user ... My username ... resolves to my first and last name.

According to the Site Rules Governing User Accounts page, it's possible for an individual to register multiple user names as long as they're not used for nefarious purposes; see the linked page for details. Other than general mischief, the chief concern seems to be about voting irregularities: you can only vote with one of your user names. You might register a new name and transfer voting authorization to that for the time being. I assume you could transfer authorization back to the original name eventually, but you'd better check with the gods on that. Or else, just don't vote with your alter. But you must inform the gods of multiple registration.

See Creating an account on PerlMonks for general registration info!

Operating as a registered user makes everything ever so much easier. :)

Update: Oh, and not that it makes much difference, but it's AnomalousMonk (one word), not "Anomalous Monk".
