Re^3: scheme://query no longer works in Search box

You should maybe explain the benefit of such a feature, if you want it to be (re)implemented.

In 13 years here I've never used this.

The resources of pmdevs are limited and the to-do list is long.

Well, doc:// and cpan:// brings up the docs very easily. These are very useful things to have when answering questions. I use them all the time when answering questions.	[reply]

I have DDG as default search engine and use it for that purpose, even outside PM. `!perldoc term` -> https://duckduckgo.com/?q=!perldoc+term&ia=web `!cpan term` -> https://duckduckgo.com/?q=!cpan+term&ia=web Update And of course you can just type the schemes and test them in preview.
