«…who does have the time to check on all possible IDEs?» Yes, sure. Nothing but the truth. On the other hand: There aren’t so many serious candidates to check for serious users 🤪😎. BTW, as an result of this thread I came back to BBEdit. It isn’t really an IDE but close to. The friendly manual has only ~400 pages. Which is about 300 pages less than the friendly Emacs manual.
