The history is by default not saved when quitting the debugger. Setting the HistFile option should enable saving the history to a file, though. The history of the debugger can be displayed by the H command. Only some commands are saved to the history, this is controlled by the length of the command. On older Perl versions, only commands longer than 1 character are saved, in recent Perls, you can set the HistItemMinLength option to a different value (2 is the default).
