in reply to Perl DBI, Oracle truncating 30th character from the column name.

Pre Oracle v12.2 30 bytes was the limit, post v12.2 this is no longer the case. If you built DBD::Oracle against a pre v12.2 database and have since upgraded you should rebuild against the updated database/clients. If you need more help please read and understand How do I post a question effectively? before responding, more details will be required.

    Hi Marto,

Thank you for the revert. Oracle version i have is 19c, but driver i am using is ODBC and not DBD, could it be the issue.

Let me check that link you provided on how to ask question effectively

    Regards

If you are using ODBC in windows ensure your Oracle driver is up to date. Update: I assume you don't experience this problem using sqlplus directly?

Oracle Driver version i have is, 12.2.0.2.0.
