In a blog post I show how I use Perl (among other tools) to find indicators of compromise related to Log4Shell.

    you might want to consider using an only Perl solution, this would be OS agnostic.

    Thanks for that. Your original post linked within the above link is even more informative if I may say. BTW, I have also asked this here Log4Shell and Log::Log4perl as to clarify why Log4Shell does not affect Log::Log4perl.
