[SOLVED] MCE GitHub examples page missing

kcott has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

G'day All,

Following the MCE (CPAN) documentation link to https://github.com/marioroy/mce-examples this afternoon, resulted in a "404 Page not found".

For more details, see the "GitHub mce-examples - 404 Page not found" issue that I've just raised.

In the interim, if this page has simply moved, and anyone knows of the new location, please advise. Thankyou.

Update: Problem solved. ++Mario has restored the page and added 2022 updates. Thanks.

I had taken the repo offline temporarily for a make over. A turn of events happened instead. MCE::Barrier, MCE::Semaphore, and MCE::Simple took over me. The mce-examples repository has been restored, including updates made in 2022. See Changes.

      G'day Mario,

++ Thanks for resolving this in a most timely manner,

"A turn of events happened instead."

No worries. That happens to me all the time. I start the day all fired up about doing X; then Y & Z rear their ugly heads and are worked on instead; X is left languishing in the "TODO" box.

      G'day soonix,

++ Thanks for doing the search and adding a comment about this to the GitHub issue. An email was sent to Mario Roy; I received a copy last night.

The "longbow0" page is quite old. I noticed the copyright was 2012-2015; the current MCE copyright is 2012-2022. It may have been an exact copy seven years ago; it is now out-of-date and cannot be used as a standin replacement.
