    I received a response from MARCEL:

    Thank you for your mail. I am no longer maintaining any Perl modules. I've used PAUSE to give up primary maintainership of all DB::Pluggable modules, so they are now available for adoption using the ADOPTME mechanism (see https://pause.perl.org/pause/authenquery?ACTION=pause_operating_model#4_5_1_adoptme ). It's probably going to take a bit until the distribution shows up in the ADOPTME RT list.

    Since you are using the module, maybe you would like to continue development of this distribution?

    (As flattering as it is, I don't feel remotely qualified to take over maintainership. :)
