I'm pretty excited to share the news that The Perl and Raku Conference will be in Toronto this year, July 11-13, 2023. You can find the TPF posting here and you can go to the cool tprc-to website here.

The Call For Papers is now open, and the deadline is the end of March .. so if you have something you'd like to present, get that in soon! I'm looking forward to seeing lots of folks at this event.

Thanks PJ. We owe you so much. Groklaw -- RIP -- 2003 to 2013.

I'm on my way, and I can't wait!

Can't wait to meet other Perl coders, but meeting Perl hackers from home (Toronto) will be particularly special!

Excellent! Olaf Alders is going to be speaking .. I've been talking with Richard Dice in advance of this event, but I don't believe he'll be attending. On the Slack channel, someone mentioned demerphq -- but last they'd heard he was in the Far East, and unlikely to attend.

I just can't wait to fly home (Toronto) for a Perl event.

Couldn't have imagined it 10 years ago when I struggled to find my way with the language.
