(please read this one through before you -- me)

I have to say, Asmo... You're on the right track (if a bit annoying). A lot of people see you doing the same thing over and over again, which is almost true. I see that you're doing it over and over again but differently each (maybe not every) time. Using arrays, chr, unpack etc.. My advice to you is, keep up the work.. do the same thing over and over using different functions if that's what it takes for you to learn them. You already know how the ones you've used process data to some extent, and learning what each function is and does it vital. BUT! Keep this in mind. You do not have to post every working JAPH/obfu you write here. post them to your home node if you want input and ask someone with more experience than you to look at it. When you come up with something unique and mindboggling post it to this section. Make people wonder how you got from where you were - to the higher level of understanding you have attained. Then someday you'll post something here that will make merlyn look twice to figure out how you did it.

Update ok ok I took out the <br> tags.. I had used them to keep the message from scrolling off the screen, but due to the urging of everyone, they are now mia!
