Consumers won't know it, but you can tell them that it keeps the time for ~ 15 million servers on the internet, thus allowing on-line commerce to work. (Computers are stupid and if the time appears to go backwards by a little bit they mostly can't handle it.)

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.
