I don't have time to do this now, but noise reduction and other methods can be used.

    Hmm ... I remember at GPW@Dresden we ran VLC on my netbook to produce a screencast of the presentation.

    Maybe I should start producing my own (backup) videos, with a standard headset recording voice to the mobile phone in my pocket and another fixed mobile taking my picture ...

      I should have some time this weekend to try and filter out some of the noise. I'll let you know how that goes.

        Perhaps it's just the first edit of the videos and better versions are about to come, e.g. the slides are about 5 seconds late.

        In any case I think the quality is already good enough to be able to follow the talk.
