Even if the added post was pointless, it lets newcomers (and oldcomers who forgot about it) see the thread that they would usually otherwise never see.

Perhaps we should just randomly reply to years-old threads to achieve this.

We already have spam-bots for this. *For certain values of "we". I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.	[reply]
