      That assertion depends on how you define "encryption". A simple substitution cipher is encryption. Weak, but...

      That said, my suggestion was tongue-in-cheek ("heppin"). But the goal of the OP was unrealistic, and my suggestion was simpler than the path they were going down.

        Essentially encryption requires a form of key/secret to reverse, where with encoding all you need is the algorithm. They're fundamentally different. While your suggestion is simple, it's not what OP wants, because that doesn't exist. I've never come across the term "heppin" before, sorry.
