I would have thought the opposite, at least in my case. There is almost no chance of getting a mixed pair, drawing 2 socks, even in the dark. It's still light enough to make out white vs. black, and each color is in its own box. "Two from this box" is all it takes.

But perhaps you meant the opposite...
