To be so close to the rest of Europe, and yet in a charming, friendly smallish town, seems idyllic. Even more idyllic is to be in the heart of Europe wandering around the charming, friendly smallish Saarland village of Perl. The village of Perl has population 2,129 while the municipality of Perl - consisting of the village of Perl plus thirteen other charming villages - has a total population of 7,593.
