Thanks for your kind advice.

Yes, I do recognize most HTML and the HTML comment syntax.

My problem is that I've so far been unable to store any text in my personal bio. May that be plain text, HTML formatted text or HTML comments. Nada. That is, using Netscape V4.76 under Win-NT. (At work.)

Yesterday, I tried to update my bio from home. Lo and behold! Using Netscape V4.78 under RH Linux does make a significant difference. Suddenly a simple HTML paragraph was accepted and stored in my home node. Great!

This morning, back at work (sigh), making a new try. I can see the text I entered to my bio from home yesterday evening. But I cannot change it. Neither can I add to it. 'Stumbit' silently ignores anything I do from work.

(Could it be that the saints in the monastery somehow detect that I do this from work? But, I do program Perl professionally {i.e. getting paid for it} so I thought I was allowed to improve my Perl skills at the monastery at least partially during working hours?)
