What's the workaround for not wanting your account details stored in plaintext?

Not being the kind of stick-stupid autopwndn00b who uses the same password as the one on their bank account is a good start. Fake name. Anonymous email service. Getting a commit bit and fixing it if it’s really that important to you.

Too lazy to search the archives now, but we had this dialog already (at least once) with (this) anonymous monk.

Yeah. That’s why I upped my rhetoric a bit. :P
I'm afraid I haven't posted about this topic before on this site. But I am not a moron; I of course would use a randomly generated password, which would then be stored in plaintext for anyone to use to pretend to be me.
