    Well, thanks, I suppose, if you thought I didn't know about <readmore>; however, I do.

    My settings automatically open <readmore> sections of an OP, so they're not all that obvious to me. Accordingly, I checked for that before deciding not to front-page.

    My "... some way around that which I don't know about ..." referred to front-paging in a way that presented the post in a shortened form for the Monastery Gates. I'm pretty sure that's not possible but would be happy to learn about it if such a facility existed.

    Update: Discipulus has now added a <readmore> tag. I have front-paged his post.
