At the lower levels it doesn't sound right: 
Initiate Fubar
Novice Fubar
Acolyte Fubar
Scribe Fubar
Monk Fubar

would sound better as
Fubar the Initiate
Fubar the Novice
Fubar the Acolyte
Fubar the Scribe
Fubar the Monk

Then at the higher levels you could reverse it and add a subtitle: 
Friar Fubar -
"Master of Gray Things in the Crispers of Refrigerators"

    Thats really a good point, but you could still have subtitles for the lower monks too, for example:
    Fubar the monk, perl guru of the corporate kitchen.
