Hi, Fries, also called 'french fries', are a Belgian speciality, but not the only speciality luckily! Do not let the name 'french fries' delute you, it comes from WWI when American soldiers got served 'fries' on the front, they did not know the difference between French and Belgian ;-) Anyway, we consume fries with mayonaise ...
