For those of you who are into such things, I've always felt that the relationship between Intel and AMD is best described by the relationship between the Intel 8087 and the AMD 9511/9512! Compare the instruction sets sometime (not to mention the date you could actually get your hands on one) and then ask yourself why everyone thinks that Intel invented the (micro anyway) math co-processor?
