in reply to Second call For Participation YAPC::Europe::2002 - September 18-20

Are there any monks from Vancouver, BC, Canada who are planning on taking part in this?

I envy the lucky perl monks who live in Europe and would be able to attend ;-). It's a bit tough (financially-wise as well as logistically) for a Canadian westener to get to europe.

I guess summary of the talks etc. will be placed on the www.yapc.com website? I'm also wondering if we are going to dedicate a few nodes to this?

From last years conference to this - I guess we'll handle things the same, so

The topics of the talks will be on http://www.yapc.org/Europe/ and linked with the speaker's notes, as most speakers have / will put up their material on their own websites.

As last year attending monks will put up information here as well as having a Conference Journal at http://use.perl.org.

So all of those staying at home are likely to have a good chance to keep up with the conference.
