perlknight has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

all, I've got DSLINK model: DSB-100 USB Radio to work under linux with fmtools. What I want to do is cycle through several radio-stations and record a 10 seconds sound clips. here's the command to set the feqreuncy and turn it on.
./fm 92.5 ./fm on record for 10 seconds ./fm of ./fm 104.5 ./fm on and so on ...
My problem is I don't know if perl can capture and record the output. Does any know if this is possible. If so, could some one be kind enough to give an example. Thanks.
