    Yeah, I think they made him "real" for the sake of being P.C. Something perhaps about not wanting children to think that adults won't believe them when they're telling the truth, or some such nonsense.

    I tried to find a page that explained the "why", but no luck. Just a bunch of noisy Elmo flash stuff LOL
