In one of the ST:TNG episodes ("The Chase"), Capt. Piccard mentions a race that viewed an individual as a chorus of inner voices, where different of these voices coming through at different times gave rise to the different aspects we see of a person's personality. As reasonable a way of describing a personality as many others I have seen.
The anonymous monk user here, interestingly enough, takes the view to the extreme, because it actually is multiple voices. Sometimes we see from his/her lips droll and dribble, at others we see mined jewels of crystal clarity, shining to blinding brightness in the pure light of truth.
The anonymous monk user, as with anonymous users in other environments, is a double-edged sword-on the one hand, it is subject to the possiblity of abuse; on the other, it allows for postings without fear of personality, embarassment, or experience, getting in the way.
Anonymous Monk, whomever you are, I applaude this meditation-in simple words, you have succinctly captured the spirit of that user.
