in reply to Dealing with errant Q&A posts

I wish that posting in the Q&A section be a monk privilege, or at least level 4. I really dislike Anonymous Monk writing crap answers, and me having to delete them.

So far, most of my work has been SOPWifying posts, and telling the newbies that this is the wrong section. In one case, the newbie I kept /msg'ing completely ignored the right side of the screen, so it took the power of the gods to get him to notice my messages, so he could start posting to SOPW.

However, I do not think threads need to be elevated to Q&A. I think the QandAEditors should simply create Q's and A's after seeing such worthy notes (takes some of the hassle out of it).

I also do not think voting needs to be in place in the Q&A section anymore.

I feel the Q&A should be more like the perl monks faq, where the site documentation clan reigns supreme in every way.
